Recently we purchased a Vitamix blender and we LOVE it! I make everything from smoothies to soups, to dips and everything in between. I use it daily. It was an investment but it was well worth it. It's wonderful for homemade hummus, mashed cauliflower and I even prepare my own flours and nut butters.
Many of us are tired all the time. We live in a state of exhaustion. We want more energy but it always eludes us. We just feel bad all the time. The sad part is we’ve gotten used to it. We don’t even remember what it feels like to feel good. Sadly, many of us don’t realize that what we are putting in our bodies plays a huge role in how we feel daily. Balanced and healthy eating is a key to living an energetic and full life. If you are finally tired of being tired please join me on a quest to be your best. This is not a diet.

Hi everyone! I just left the great (and expensive country) of Switzerland! It was beautiful! The mountains were amazing and I love it there. So far though Austria is my favorite. I had the pleasure of preparing food for the men's team at the Adelboden World Cup Races. We didn't leave with any podium places but our guys worked hard. I am always very proud of them! The weather conditions in Adelboden wasn’t great. Everyone tends to believe there is snow over here all the time and guess what: there isn’t! LOL! They actually had to make snow, which isn’t the greatest.
So excited about being featured in yesterday's Plain Dealer! Debbi Snook is an amazing writer and I'm honored that she wrote about me. There are also some healthy eating tips AND a recipe for my oatmeal cookie cobbler!! Woohoo!!!

Hi everyone! It’s been so crazy lately. Made it to Europe safely, however, it did take me 15 minutes to figure out how to get the GPS in my rental car to speak English! I’m with extremely spotty internet access and a bunch of wonderful ski people to hang around with. My first week back in Austria has been great. We are in St. Johann which is in the province of Salzburg, Austria. It’s amazing being in the hometown of Mozart and understanding the rich history good and bad of this country. We are staying at a lovely old bed and breakfast.
I know the holidays can be stressful! Shopping, cleaning, cooking, entertaining guests and did I mention cooking? Let’s be real, there is so much pressure to produce the most amazing meal with all the decorations and perfectly behaved children, spouses and pets. Many of us have, as I like to call it, the “Martha Syndrome”. Insert your favorite Martha here: Martha from the Bible (Luke 10:38-42) or Martha Stewart! Isn’t it funny that both of them have the same name? Perfectionism is REAL and as much as we may love it, Pinterest doesn’t help! LOL!
